I am happily in the midst of a begging and groveling marathon to garner votes for my entry into the Mezzacorona Moments Facebook contest. Mezzacorona, Wine from the Dolomites, started the contest last fall, and although I was a very late entrant, I managed to make it to the finals. Now I’m hoping to go all the way…to Italy! Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio holds a special place in my heart, as you’ll learn when you read my contest entry. It was my first wine that ushered in an appreciation for vino that did not start with “Boone’s”.
