I rely on some convenience foods, such as frozen pizza and french fries. I know people who pretty much define their cooking life by pulling something out of the freezer and heating it. And I know people who cook all of their food from fresh organic vegetables, fruit, whole grains and locally raised livestock. That said, I don’t believe I have many friends who would purchase a deep dish sausage and gravy pie, or at least few who would admit to it. What do you think, are Americans too reliant on preservative laden prepared foods that may contain additives of unpronounceable chemical stabilizers and other unsavory sounding items?
